i honestly wish i could have been more active in this course but due to personal circumstances, i wasn’t able to enjoy it as often as i would have liked. i have scrolled through the site and read/checked out everyone else’s posts and it’s very nice to see people actually getting to fulfill their goals and dreams. this course seemed to help everyone get on the right track and explain to one another their future plans and where they want to go further into their careers.

me, on the other hand, is still a bit iffy about the path i am currently working on. talking about the future sometimes scares me, but i eventually will figure out what it is i will and how i will accomplish my goals hereafter!

what processes are important to track in order to be successful? what did you learn in situations where you were not successful?

some processes that are important to track in order to become successful are your goals that have be set, your planning, disciplining yourself and your essential skills or qualifications that will help you get to where you want to be.

what i learnt from not being successful in certain situations is to push myself harder. don’t allow myself to give up so easily. if you really want something, it is important that you work for it. you need to strive for it. unsuccessful situations can lead people to become discouraged of course, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth another try. trials and errors are pretty common before getting something to be perfect. it takes time. eventually you will get there, which has helped me recently with a lot of situations.

searching for people through the recommended sites didn’t really help as much. i found people with interesting roles, but once i wanted to click on their profiles and such, there wasn’t really too much information to obtain which was a let down. i was recommended to reach out to a fellow york graduate just because she is into the same thing i am currently trying to achieve. we even had a few classes together and i have always been amazed and in awe of her work and whatever she presented to the class. hopefully in the future and with much more practice, i can perfect my crafts and do well.

i have always been asked to set goals throughout my years of school but they were always mediocre. so being asked what is my actual big goal is a bit overwhelming. just like everyone else, i want to be successful. getting able to take courses in communications and actually indulging into what i want to be able to do as career has been exciting.

with that being said, i would love to create my own website with the knowledge i have now and turn it into something that showcases the things i love and enjoy. i want it to actually be able to function the correct way as a regular website that people use.

this course seems very laid back and straightforward, just because it is about us as individuals and our life through these four years of college. being able to discuss with a peer our best and worst classes was interesting, especially if a peer has taken the same classes as you and almost having the same opinions.

the ending is really near. i have had a lot of different experiences here at york college, both good and bad but i wouldn’t change it for anything. i am looking forward to what else will come out from this course since i enjoyed our very first one. here’s to a great semester (hopefully!)
